Millennial and Baby Boomers

Millennial are trying to identify reasons for life and  purposes for living while Baby Boomers are at the point in life where they have accepted that for them things will soon end so they are submissive   and are asking “what is your will?”

The concept of toiling from daybreak until nightfall in order to gain wealth is not providing the motivation for living that millennial are seeking just now. There have been many wealthy and famous persons who have been the victims of the grim reaper while still relatively young so gaining wealth is not proving a reasonable answer to a purpose for living. The double standard of the wealthy and celebrities have left millennial with the search for the ideals of life. The life portrayed by celebrities and the actual lifestyle of these celebrities have fallen short of the ideals sought by millennial.

Science, one would hope would have presented the perfect answer to the reason for life. Scientists however cannot come to terms with providing a single answer as to have life began in the first place. The theories as to how life began are not only varied and complex but only the super brilliant can understand these theories. Millennial must accept the scientists explanations without questions because of complexity while their need is an answer that can be easily discussed and digested. Science does not answer the spiritual questions that pertain to man.

The willingness of individuals to sacrifice their lives in the name of religion in order to gain something better in the afterlife have left millennial asking about the truth of an afterlife. this is outside the realms of science to answer.

Baby boomers are asking, what next? They are at that stage in life when forty or fifty years of labor is about to pay off have arrived. The reality for many is that there has to be a curb in expectation for whatever money was saved must be now be made to last the rest of their lifetime. The reality of the grim reaper is even more evident and many are asking what will be my legacy? For Baby Boomers that have embraced religion the desire to acquire wealth and fame is no longer the ultimate in life and so they are more accepting that there is an even higher power and so they are willing to ask, what is your will?

There are two great questions then that are begging answers for millennial, What is the purpose of my life? and for Baby boomers the question is for the Great Almighty One, What is your will?
